Think premium Guatemala Antigua Coffee - hand roast those beans to perfection over glowing mesquite wood embers. That’s what we do better than anyone else!

This is the original coffee that started the Mesquite Roasted Coffee Company of Big Lake Texas.  Open flame roasting premium coffee beans over glowing mesquite fires began when early West Texas pioneers heading west on wagon trains roasted coffee in iron skillets over mesquite fires.  We simply perfected the pioneer's thought of 150 years ago.

Just a few things have change since old Bill Hodge first roasted his coffee beans over an open fire while camping on his ranch in 2003.

We discovered that wood flame roasting the beans in open wire baskets brought a unique rich flavor to coffee laced with a hint of mesquite smoke was handstands above the iron skillet roasted coffee the pioneers drank.

Enjoy pure, natural wood fire roasted coffee flavor made without spray-on flavors and oils, chemical additives, or preservatives...without roughing it on a wagon train.
