The Guatemala Antigua SHB coffee bean is one of the most prized coffees on earth.  "SHB" means this coffee was mountain grown above 4000 ft altitude which gives it a superior taste compared to harsher flavored low land grown beans.

GA's rich flavor fits almost everyone's coffee palate and easily enjoyed any time of the day.  You will discover that GA is a smooth full bodied tasting aromatic coffee that will soon become your "go to coffee". This whole bean coffee is roasted to a City Roast stage then packed in dual ply airtight foil bags for peak freshness.

We are selling this product by the BOX (five 12 oz bags) That's 3  3/4 pounds of freshly roasted coffee, enough for 24 pots of coffee!

Bean: Guatemala Antigua SHB
Roast: City-Full City Roast
Cupping notes: Dark chocolate, Light cinnamon, Toasted nuts. Smoke. Bright lemon with very nice acidity and Sweet aftertaste.

Packaging: Per Box - five 12 oz vented foil bags.

Note: This is the same premium coffee bean that we use for Original Mesquite Roasted Coffee but instead it is traditionally roasted so there is no additional open flame smokiness gained from wood-fire roasting and the nuances are less pronounced.  The Guatemalan Antigua Bean has some natural smokiness flavor

The Antigua Growing Region has rich volcanic soil, low humidity, lots of sun, and cool nights. The high mountain valley is surrounded by three volcanoes: Agua, Fuego(active), and Acatenango. Every once in a while, Fuego adds a fresh dusting of mineral-rich ash to Antigua’s country side.  Volcanic pumice in the soil retains moisture, which helps offset Antigua’s low rainfall.  If it were not for growing some of the best coffee in the world this valley would be an excellent grape growing region.
